JOE BEASLEY
Managing Partner - Operations
For 50 years, Joe has devoted himself to the real estate industry. His experience spans, commercial, residential, and multifamily real estate. Today, he spearheads the firms investment and deal originations strategy.
In 1971, Joe launched his career in the property management arena managing a small apartment community while attending college. His entry into the professional management field began in 1973 when he accepted a position with Management Enterprises as a Regional Manager, where he managed a multi-family portfolio and was directly involved in the resolution of problem loans. From 1976 - 1981 he helped organize the management division for EMCA, a German based investor group, which specialized in the acquisition, rehab and management of Class A properties across the Southeast. During that time Joe managed over 2000 units across 4 states. In 1981 Joe formed an investment company with two other partners to acquire and reposition multi-family properties. By 1986, the company had built a portfolio of approximately 3800 units in the state of Georgia. After the Tax reform act of 1986, Joe also consulted for property owners in distressed situations. Since 2007 he has focused on asset management for lender owned properties. Joe has been involved with the renovations and management of over 12,000 units during his 50 year career. He graduated from Georgia State with a BBA in Finance and Real Estate and is a Certified Property Manager.
BRIAN KERR
Managing Partner - Development
Brian leads the asset management and renovations team for all transactions. He has over 25 years of commercial and residential real estate experience. Brian began his real estate career in asset management for Atlanta-based Hatfield Phillips, managing commercial asset portfolios for several institutional clients. He then worked for 10 years in the commercial mortgage industry as a loan underwriter and originator, closing approximately $500 million in loans for GMAC Commercial Mortgage, MortgageRamp and CWCapital. Brian moved on from the mortgage business to multifamily development as a development manager for Lane Company, where he was responsible for the development of over $400 million in approximately 2,100 apartment and condominium units in Atlanta. Since 2017, Brian has been a partner at REMG involved in the acquisition and renovation of multifamily communities in the Atlanta area. Brian graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Finance (minor in Real Estate).
BRIAN SUTTON
Key Principle Partner - Investor Management
Brian is responsible for the securing senior debt on each project and acts as the key principle on recourse/non-recourse loans. He is strategically involved in the acquisition and underwriting of assets with in the portfolio. Most of all he is the direct line to our investor partners across the country.
He has over 20 years of commercial and residential real estate experience. Before REMG, Brian has personally owned and managed a single and multi-family portfolio. Brian has been actively involved in the acquisition, leasing and rehab of multi-family property. Other skill sets include 1031 exchange, real estate sales and marketing. Brian currently has his IRO (Independent Real Estate Owner) designation and he graduated from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business with a BA in Marketing.
QUANDA S. CHIN
Regional Manager
Quanda has over 18 years in property management ranging from new construction to multi-million-dollar rehab assets. She was first introduced to property management while a student at Alabama State University studying to receive a bachelor’s degree in marketing. Innately business savvy and eager to help people, Quanda quickly advanced in the industry. In 2012, she received the ARM certification through IREM and has completed 75 hours of education through the Barney Fletcher University Real Estate School.
JOHN BEASLEY
VP of Operations and Accounting
Beginning his career as a construction Project Manager in 2014, John has managed upwards of $3 Million in renovation and capital improvements in the Real Estate Development sector. Currently, he manages the Daily Accounting Operations for 12 Multi-Family Properties throughout Atlanta and the Metro Area. John has served as an Intelligence Fusion Team Leader since enlisting in the National Guard in 2007. He is a graduate of the University of North Georgia holding a Bachelor’s of Art in Arabic and Political Science. He is currently working towards a Master’s of Professional Accountancy at Georgia State University.
